Another Saturday (Tight End) Update

You can always count on the National Football League to throw you a curveball if you make the mistake of turning your back on it.

Actually, it’s unfair to blame the NFL itself for the latest curveball to be thrown at the People’s Pigskin. This one comes from the New Orleans Saints, which have just inactivated Jeremy Shockey for Saturday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. In an emergency measure, Shockey has been cut from our lineup and replaced with Kevin Boss of the New York Giants.

One of the upshots of this mess: The People’s Pigskin no longer has any “skin” in Saturday night’s game. However, we now have some skin in Monday night’s game between the Giants and the Washington Redskins. So we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.

Anyway, the lineup poll is still open. Please vote, and enjoy the game.
